According to the  Chinese tradition, the dragon is the most magnificant and majestic of all celestial creatures. It is an ultimate  symbol of power and good luck. In ancient China, the Emperor sat on the Dragon Throne and only he had the priviledge to wear dragon robes featuring dragon with 5 claws. The others were allowed 4 clawed dragons. The phoenix is regarded as the king of all featured creatures of the universe. In Chinese tradition, this mythical bird is only supposed to appear in times of peace and prosperity,  and symbolizes the coming of opportunity and good fortune. The dragon and phoenix together represents the ultimate symbol of a fruitful marriage blessed with great happiness, many children and prosperity.  It symbolizes that the couple will stay together through the ups and downs, and that love and passion will last till the ends of the time.
